What is a Bait Cover?

Your bait, available only when you want it

A Bait Cover is a motorized, battery-operated, timed cover that is staked beside your bait pile. When closed it covers the bait from deer and wildlife; when open, they can feed.

The built-in timer opens and closes the cover on the schedule you set, several times a day, for any duration.

Why would I need one?

To see more deer during hunting hours. Your trail cameras may already show deer coming to your bait station after hours — a bait station that is open 24/7 encourages deer to feed at night. You have deer coming in, just at the wrong time.

The Bait Cover lets you present your bait at the times you choose. It also protects your feed from unwanted feeding and the elements, saving you time and money re-supplying your bait station.

How would I use it?

Set it up at each of your bait stations

Stake it beside your bait

Set the Bait Cover next to your bait, then step in the ground stakes to anchor the unit in place.

Leave it open for a week

Open the cover during the daytime. Deer will be wary at first, but in as little as a few days they get used to feeding next to an open Bait Cover.

Set your schedule

The second week, set the timer for the opening and closing times you want. Once again, the deer will need time to adjust to the new feeding schedule.
